SRB Regeneration Partnership Report
1995-2000Working Progress
Working in the Barton & Tredworth area
with buildings in such bad state of repairs was always going to present a challenge. This
has been the reality, which has severely tested the planned work schedule.
The programme of work will however not
suddenly come to an end, regeneration will be kept going. The momentum in the area is one
of continued progress and achievements, all the agencies the individuals, residents,
businesses, politicians and advisors has worked and contributed to make a noticeable
difference.
The Barton Tredworth & Eastgate
Community Trust although having a delayed start has picked up the baton and are forging
ahead for the community.
The Barton Enterprise Centre has provided a
focal point for the regeneration from which a large percentage of contact with individual
businesses and the community has been maintained, it will continue to be that focal point
in the continued improvement of the area.
